Story Led Marketing is not a magic wand.
Whilst you won’t have to ‘sell’ in the traditional sense, getting results with Story Led Marketing still requires you to be proactive and committed to investing time in building your business. This isn’t a way to get rich quick, it is a way to focus your marketing efforts in a strategic way, leveraging your stories to better connect with prospects and guide them to the sale…but it still requires you to take action. That is something I can’t do for you.
Story Led Marketing will not work unless you have clarity around your target customer and offer.
An important part of my coaching focuses on getting foundational clarity on your ideal customer and on your offer. I think of it like fishing… you need to understand what fish you want to catch and then work out if your bait is right for that fish, then you need to work out where you can catch them. Otherwise you can waste a lot of time trying to catch a fish you don’t want, in the wrong place, with a bait they’re not interested in any way!
You do not need to be creative or a natural born storyteller to win clients with stories.
Finding and using stories in marketing is something that everyone can learn. There are tools, formulas and techniques that writers, speakers and performers use to generate and create powerful stories that captivate, connect and convert, and you can learn how to use these too.
